" Dreams " by Langston Hughes

Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

Astronomy & space science for the ecological renaissance of the World

Gabon is right at the core of the "Bassin du Congo", the second larget pristine tropical rainforest ecosystem in the world, after the Amazonia. It is litterally the second lung of the Planet. Hence the national question of how to lead the ecological Renaissance of the World in preserving this unique lung of ours.

Through space science (in its broadest definition ) !

One of the goals of the recently launched Gabonese Space Program (GSP) is to set up a regional centre for satellite data acquisition and analysis with the aim to monitor the evolution of the entire "Bassin du Congo".

A central vision for us is therefore to explore all the possibilities to systematically couple Astronomy & space science promotion with the initiatives related to the preservation of our unique Planet.

Yes, Astronomy & Space Science can save our unique Planet and it's Fun !
