"Of Astronomy & Sciences"

"Of Astronomy & Sciences" is an exhibition conceptualized as a mobile scientific journey. We recently acquired a Celestron telescope of decent quality, allowing a first intimate contact with some of the most inspiring celestial bodies. One of the first rounds of this mobile exhibition saw a delighted group of about  250 High school girls and boys rediscover our solar system. A smaller groups of them had the unique opportunity to look through a telescope for the first time in their Life!

As an additional set of resources, NOMMO ASTRONOMIA  has made available for, local activities: A set of 2*16 A1 format posters describing our solar system. A digital projector for multimedia presentations, as well as a wealth of cds and dvds. The path ahead is the one towards more ambitious teachers training workshops in Libreville. A project for which any suggestion and support is welcome.
